ABOUT SARAH GOSHMAN
A little more about me
Sarah Goshman’s mission is simple: to use their organization, creativity, and community-building skills to create live and virtual experiences that bring people together. They’re a magic maker–and a bit of a geek– who transforms ideas into wow-worthy moments.
Theater production was Goshman’s first love. It taught them the practicalities of making magic happen and how to orchestrate small details into a grand experience. Goshman has made a career out of bringing that magic to a range of industries including theater, tech, nonprofits, education, and pharma.
With Goshman’s coordination and creativity, they helped raise over $3.5 million for a nonprofit, operationalized stellar customer service in multiple organizations, and project managed the launch of several user-centered digital products. And that’s just the Spark Notes version.
As the Assistant Director for Jacob’s Cure, a nonprofit dedicated to raising money for Canavan disease research, Goshman strategically re-positioned the organization using their knack for understanding how best to bring people together. Their efforts made Jacob’s Cure more compelling to institutions and individual donors alike.
Goshman planned four galas during their time at Jacob’s Cure. These weren’t your average galas. They raised over $3.5 million in total, had as many as 850 guests in attendance, and brought affected children and their families together with donors to help people understand the true impact of their giving. Outside of galas, Goshman executed the first ever Canavan Research and Family Conference. Canavan is a rare disease, and there was something particularly special about giving members of the community a place to feel understood and connected.
In tech, Goshman flexed their organizational and empathetic muscles in project management and customer success roles. They trained. They documented. They conquered multiple app launches and streamlined internal processes with their project management know-how.
Goshman is a unicorn who brings both technical and soft skills, experience as both the client and the practitioner, and knowledge of a variety of industries. If you’re looking for a fast learner and organizational ninja to turn your idea for a live or virtual experience into a reality, contact Sarah Goshman here.
