This production of A Chorus Line, under an AEA LOA referencing the COST contract, featured a mix of professional and students as both performers and technical personnel. As a result, it required extra patience and an ability to think on my feet and solve problems creatively. When a mic went out during the show or when the light board op accidentally hit the “GO” button and moved into a blackout, I needed to be able to guide them since they did not have the experience to solve issues quickly on their own.
